The staff and the “Bar on Top,” where breakfast is served, won me over. Everyone was kind, smiled, and took action to sort out problems. The food was delicious and the price unbeatable, although the restaurant music felt quite old-fashioned. The hotel is close to Yangon’s historic downtown, with its many lovely colonial-era buildings. I’m ready to plan another visit as soon as I leave. My first impression was only so-so. Traffic was very noisy, and a dog outside barked constantly. I stayed in the cheapest room. It was clean and spacious overall, but clearly needs renovation. Book directly through their homepage, and check out the photos I took.

The reception team communicates well, but the hotel has some difficulties accommodating long-term guests. I prepaid for 30 days, yet the F&B department wouldn’t let me order food and pay every two or three days. Even long-term restaurant guests can’t negotiate. The room lighting is dimmer than usual, and the internet isn’t good, which is inconvenient for working from home. They also asked me to pay 1000Ks to rent two empty plates, two spoons, and one bowl.

The location is close to many tourist attractions, and the open buffet breakfast is legendary. The place is comfortable and clean, with staff who are very friendly, respectful, and helpful. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The breakfast was a highlight, especially since the buffet changed each day. The staff were warm, helpful, kind, and hardworking, and the food was amazing. It’s a new hotel with good facilities, and I’d come back.

The breakfast was quite good, and the room looked comfortable and nice. The door doesn’t block sound, though, so conversations outside come through clearly.
