There are taxis around at all hours, which makes this a handy choice for business trips or families. I come back whenever I visit Yangon, especially for the free WiFi throughout the hotel and the business services available on request. It’s easy to get downtown for meetings or head out to the industrial zones, and there’s plenty of parking. The service is great, and the on-site convenience store is nicely stocked. Dining and entertainment nearby make it easy to unwind with friends or colleagues. Highly recommended for a Yangon trip.

The rooms aren’t very big for a family, but the pool bar, massage and spa make the place feel nice. The girls are cute and pleasant. Try the oil massage at Hotel Shwe Gone Daing.

Getting downtown or to popular places is easy from here. The hotel has KTV, massage, a spa, an indoor pool bar, fast internet, a large car park and good security. But the rooms need upgrading, the toilet is very narrow, and there’s nowhere relaxing like a garden. The indoor pool bar costs extra to use, and service is just normal. The reception could use a redecoration too.

A clean, pleasant place to unwind, and the massage is very good. Banks, a supermarket and public transport are all easy to reach.
