Check-in and checkout were easy, and the service felt personal and welcoming. I found the rooms cozy, clean, and carefully designed, with lovely wood finishes that suited the maritime feel. Waking up to the water's gentle movement and marina views was so relaxing, and made this feel different from a regular hotel.

Meeting rooms are available for business, and the staff were attentive, polite, and professional. The restaurant and bar serve local and international food, and there's a mini theatre as well. Weekend breakfast is a buffet, which was satisfying. Eating by the river in the evening had a really relaxing, romantic feel.

Friendly, helpful staff couldn't make up for poor management. The place smelled strongly of sewage, and there was no hot water for two days, followed by water that was only warm. Wi-Fi was very poor and kept dropping out. I went to breakfast twice: Sunday’s buffet was stone cold at 8 a.m., and on Tuesday there was no buffet, just à la carte. I booked a 90-minute massage but got barely 45 minutes and was charged for an hour. Avoid.

The yacht could use some extra cleaning. The rooms are charming, the food is good, the staff are lovely, and the location is handy. It's not the industry's fault that tourists aren't coming; with hotels 80-90% empty and revenue streams down significantly, services naturally won't be the same. Room prices have come down somewhat to reflect the reduced services. They do try their best, but please keep the local situation in mind and be realistic. They also offer 24/7 generator electricity. For two people in a balcony room with breakfast, the price is around 95,000-110,000 MMk per night.
