Secret Garden

I was here for six weeks doing medical research with the hospital, and it was a 10/10 stay. The rooms were nice and well kept, the location was great, and the views were breathtaking. Mimi and Li, who manage the place, were fantastic. Mimi was a great island tour guide, too. Even when she wasn’t physically in Saipan, she usually replied within an hour and answered all my questions about where to go, eat, and what to do. I couldn’t recommend the Secret Garden more.

I found Secret Garden really peaceful and quiet. You hear ocean breeze and birds instead of city sounds, and the whole property feels private. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the host was warm, attentive, and ready to help with whatever we needed. Great place to relax and recharge, with wonderful hospitality. Highly recommended if you’re after tranquility.

I live just 15 minutes away, but coming here with a friend for a staycation made it feel like a vacation somewhere far off. The view was lovely, and I liked sitting on the couch with the glass doors open, listening to the ocean. It was quiet and peaceful. Some rooms have a couch and are bigger, while others are smaller and just have a bed. The third floor has a pool table and a beautiful outdoor common area that’s a lovely place for breakfast. The coffee was excellent. The hot tub wasn’t working during my visit, but that was okay. Mimi was warm and easy to reach by text, even with all my questions. It was a pleasant, relaxing stay.

If you want to be in the middle of things, stay in Garapan. This is a quiet, secluded spot with good views, though busy areas are only a few minutes away. The owner was so sweet and even cooked for me once. The rooms are comfy and the bathrooms are amazing. It’s a good fit if you’re independent and want peaceful time to yourself, away from the hustle and bustle. 10/10 recommend.
