IBB Hotel Palazzo Bettina Malta

Breakfast was outstanding, and everyone we met, from management to the cleaner, was welcoming, friendly, and ready to help. Nothing seemed like too much trouble. Our room was wonderful, with a lovely harbour view. The historic building has been renovated beautifully and with care, making it feel calm and quietly elegant. A perfect stay, thank you to all the staff.

Roman and Misha looked after us so well. They seemed to do everything, from the front desk and serving drinks to concierge duties, and they felt like friends by the end. We loved the hotel, our room, and the location. Next time, I’d skip staying in Valetta and use Palazzo Bettina as a base for day trips. This was a trip of a lifetime.

Dora was a real highlight as a host. She was warm and attentive and made us feel welcome throughout our visit. The hotel is even more beautiful in person than it looks in photos, and the rooftop pool has an incredible view across the bay to the historic church. It’s very pet-friendly, too. We had a lovely, relaxing stay and couldn’t have asked for a better place. Highly recommend it for a memorable getaway.

Birgu is stunning, and it’s only a short ferry ride to Valetta. The staff were friendly, helpful, and down to earth throughout. We really enjoyed the rooftop terrace, especially for relaxing in the sun after a morning of exploring, with its amazing view. We were welcomed with a cold beer and offered a free upgrade, which we really appreciated. Both the room and the view were incredible. The high stone ceilings, tiled floor, and decor made the room feel beautiful and special. Honestly, I can’t rate the hotel highly enough.
