Birgu was such a beautiful, peaceful base, and the historic building was gorgeous. The beds were really comfortable, too. We felt lucky to have chosen it and will definitely return to Malta. Ryan was kind, flexible, and understanding, especially when we needed to make a last-minute change. The cheese, bread, and wine waiting for us were a lovely welcome. Thank you, Ryan!

Birgu is practically free of tourists in the evenings, so you can enjoy the view of Valletta in peace. A few tour groups pass the house in the morning, but they weren’t a bother. There are small, one-person supermarkets nearby for everyday needs, and several restaurants where you can eat well at fairly reasonable prices. The house is one of the oldest in Birgu/Vittoriosa, directly across from the Inquisitor's Palace. It has two bedrooms with four beds in total, plus a two-level roof terrace with views of Valletta and the sea at any time. Unusual accommodation, and highly recommended.

Communication was great, and the equipment was fully sufficient. My back was happy with the good mattress.
