Marc & Sacha were wonderful, communication was excellent, and they replied straight away whenever I messaged on WhatsApp. I stayed for three lovely days without any issues. People around the neighborhood were super friendly, especially the seniors. It’s a spacious place that works well for one person or a couple, with a large room, comfortable bed and pillows, and a decent kitchen downstairs if you need it. There’s also a relaxing area as soon as you come in. The stairs are beautiful, but take care going up and down because the paint is a bit glossy. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful, and the spot in Birgu is perfect. There are lots of coffee shops and restaurants nearby, and Fort St. Angelo, the War Museum, and other historic sites are within walking distance. The fast ferry to Valetta is walkable, too. I highly recommend it. Couldn’t ask for a better place.

The owners were very friendly and ready to help. The bed was cozy and comfortable, and the stay itself was good. The room had a fridge, air conditioning, and a private open bathroom, with the toilet separately in the hallway. It was pretty clean, though it could have been better. A few things to know: there were ants in the room, but it wasn’t too bad, and the owners were already trying to get rid of them with chemicals. There was a damp smell, mostly because the bathroom was open and there wasn’t much ventilation. The boiler hanging from the ceiling could also be quite noisy. The location is probably one of the best you can get in central Malta. It’s a very pleasant Maltanese neighborhood, one minute from Birgu center and two minutes from a viewpoint over Valletta.

We stayed here two years ago, and loved it. I had a gnarly ear infection and spent a couple of days straight in the room, but at least it was well air-conditioned! The square right by the house is great, with old men sitting in their chairs, gambling or just watching the world go by.

It was good, though nothing special. The check-in was really easy, though!
