Mosta Dome B&B

The staff were friendly and helpful, and I’d happily come back and recommend it to friends and family. The room was beautiful and felt luxurious for an affordable price. We got lucky with a lovely view of the Mosta Dome. Mosta Dome B&B is a hidden gem for a holiday. It’s a stone’s throw from the Dome, with views of the beautiful building, and about 20 minutes from the airport. The service was great from the time we booked, with plenty of information and communication, plus useful tips for the trip.

The owner and staff were so friendly and welcoming. My room was cozy, with one of those cute little balconies you see on the fronts of houses. I even got a breakfast bag on my last morning because my flight was very early. It’s a little oasis in the heart of Mosta, just around the corner from the church, and the garden has a lovely view. Check-in was easy to do online before arriving, and my key and some extra information were ready when I got there. Breakfast had everything I needed. My highlights were the orange juice press and little egg cooker. There’s also a table with whiskey and port available all day, lovely to enjoy in the evening. For day trips, the bus stop by the church was so convenient. I never waited more than five minutes for a bus in any direction.

I loved relaxing beside the pool with a book. The location was excellent, with restaurants and cafes close at hand and easy access to anywhere on the island. Our hostess was kind and accommodating, and made us feel comfortable. The place felt like home, friendly, clean, warm, and so tranquil. I’ll definitely return!

I paid 158 eur for one night on a quick business trip, and was very unimpressed. The bed was a brick, so hard I might as well have slept on the floor. I barely slept. The phone didn’t work, as shown in the video. The TV wouldn’t work either. It was stuck on the HDMI input selection, and the only thing I could select was HDMI2. There wasn’t a free socket for a charger or anything else, also shown in the video. Mosta Dome can get loud, so earplugs were provided, okay. But the free tap water was warm and served in a glass decanter. There was nowhere to put the towels, which had been left on the bed. Are guests really not allowed to eat or drink anything in the outdoor garden and pool area? Breakfast was included, but there wasn’t much: two slices of bread, two rolls, a few small bits of cheese, a few slices of salami, some fruit and yogurt, and filter coffee. Would I go back? Hard no. I’ve stayed in cheaper places with a far better experience. Guys, you need to rethink this, seriously.
