Reno's Restaurant & Guesthouse

There’s a lovely shallow beach here, plus a play park for little kids, a skate and scooter area for older ones, a big trampoline and a sand football pitch. You’re also spoiled for places to eat and drink. I’d try Bordas restaurant/cafe/bar, Cox's sports bar, The Nineteen Ninety bar up by the church, and Frank's fish shop if battered fish and chips sound good. We stayed in a corner room with a wraparound balcony facing the sea. Rose and Nathan were really kind and helpful, and there’s a nice mid-level terrace with a great coffee and tea machine in the corridor. The place is now called the Beach House and has been getting refurbished. The restaurant at street level is due to reopen, and a bar is planned for the top terrace in 2024.

My other hotel cancelled at the last minute, so I called here hoping to find a room. They got back to me right away, the rates were very good, and the room was neat and really clean. The service was great too. Thanks so much, I’ll choose you again when I’m back in Malta.

We got more than we expected for what we paid. The room was clean, had a fridge, and the balcony looked over the city and sea. The air conditioning worked reliably, and there was direct access to a clean, pleasant beach. Buses to Valleta run often, and from there you can get anywhere in malta. Thanks!

I didn’t stay at the guesthouse, but I ate there four times during the week because the food, service, and atmosphere were all so good. My Sea bream meal is in the photo. I also tried the Salmon, Chicken, and an Omelette, all nicely presented, good quality, and good value. Highly recommended.
