For Rest Aparthotel

The For Rest Aparthotel in Buggiba was a great value and fit what we were looking for. My two sons, 18 and 16, and I, 60, had been planning this trip for 10 years. I was born in Malta but grew up in Canada, and it was my sons’ first visit. The apartment was clean, matched the photos, and had plenty of room, with comfortable beds and a sofa bed. It could hold five, which came in handy when our daughter surprised us by coming to Malta as her graduation present. Alexxi really looked after us with that. He was our contact during the stay and went above and beyond to make it memorable. Before we left Canada, we got clear, easy-to-understand instructions, and all our communication was in English. Staff can also speak Maltese and Italian. Getting there from the airport is possible by private car, taxi or rideshare, and public transit. There’s a lift from the sidewalk to the main door for wheelchair users, and the building is 6 stories high. Grocery stores and supermarkets are close, along with lots of restaurants. Buggiba Square, Buggiba Jetty, and the Buggiba Bus Terminal are a 12 to 15 minute walk away, depending on your pace, as are the usual souvenir shops. There are 3 gyms within walking distance, and we used Legends Fitness. At least 3 laundries are also nearby. We highly recommend this place and will book again. Staff were friendly and very helpful, and shops and public transport nearby made it easy to get around Malta. At For Rest Aparthotel, I found the room clean, modern, comfortable, and quiet, with enough storage and everything I needed, including a kitchen. The bed was comfortable too, so it was easy to relax after a long day. It was a pleasant stay and good value for money.

Bugiba is about 20 minutes from the airport, and the hop on hop off bus stop is just 3 minutes away. The hotel worked well for a few days while discovering Malta. Check-in was easy and available 24 hours, and the room was very clean with a fully equipped kitchen.

It was a quiet, peaceful stay in tidy, spacious rooms, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We could walk around easily from this great location, with the seaside, restaurants, and shops only a few minutes away. Across the street they had lovely fresh fruit and vegetables. The strawberries are a MUST to try! Highly recommend 😊
