Fortina Hotel & Fortina Spa Resort

We booked a Superior Sea View room, and waking up to the stunning view of Valletta made my morning coffee a pleasure every day. The staff were warm and friendly, and service was nice and prompt. Breakfast buffet was nice too, though it could use one or two more hot dishes. A wonderful place to stay in Malta, and we had such a nice time.

We had a truly wonderful stay at the Barcelo Hotel and would gladly return. The hotel and staff both exceeded what we expected, with genuine care for guests, warm hospitality, and excellent service. A special thank you to Mr. Ayaz (if I remember correctly) at reception, who welcomed us warmly and supported us attentively from the start. He and the whole team were professional, helpful, and kind throughout. I couldn’t remember everyone’s names, but they were all great. Highly recommended!

The birthday cake and card they left in my room made my 30th birthday stay feel extra special. From the moment we arrived, everyone was welcoming and attentive, especially Imran. Our room was spacious and just right for a city break, and breakfast was delicious with lots to choose from. The location is excellent, with views across to Valletta and plenty of restaurants. We loved our stay and will definitely recommend the hotel and come back. Thank you Barcelo Fortina Malta!!! x

For our first trip to Malta, we were really happy with our choice of hotel. The views of Valletta were great, and the position was very convenient for getting transport everywhere. The pool and spa had everything you could want. Rooms were well equipped and very comfortable, breakfast had an excellent choice, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Barcelo Sliema was super in every way. We’d highly recommend it. Thanks for a very enjoyable visit.
