For the price, this is a comfortable place with friendly staff and a great location. The beds are comfortable, the Wi-Fi works well in the rooms, and the basics are there, though the rooms could use an update. There are tea-making facilities but no tea or coffee, so bring your own. It’s shabby by some standards, and the TV is unbelievably small, though it does have English channels.

The “kitchen” listed with the room is just a kettle and two cups, with no tea or coffee, so bring your own or buy some nearby. There’s a pub across the road that stays open until 3 or later, so earplugs may help. The water gets far too hot, which seems dangerous. They may call it child-friendly, but I don’t think it’s safe for children. The rooftop pool is like a box, and you have to climb up to get into it. I didn’t try it.

There’s a fridge, free Wi-Fi, towels, toiletries, and the other basics for a couple of days. It’s simple and relatively clean, with good value for a night’s stop. The main drawback is outside noise that can carry on through the night and into the early morning, so it may bother light sleepers.

The bathroom was clean and nice, the view was great, and it’s close to the beach and restaurants. A man from Nepal was very helpful and kind, and reception is open 24/7. The rooms could be more modern, but this is a great hotel for the price.
