Topaz Hotel

The pool hours were the one real disappointment for us. Both the indoor and outdoor pools were open only around 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., so after days out sightseeing, when we got back around 7, we couldn't relax there. Still, my parents and I had a very enjoyable seven-night stay at Topaz Hotel and left with lovely memories. We'd happily return if any of us are back in Malta. The staff made a big difference. Nearly everyone we met was kind and happy to chat about Malta as well as the hotel, and they often shared personal tips for getting around and places to see. English was no problem, even though hardly any of the staff were Maltese. We felt welcome, and some people would smile at us for no particular reason. At the hotel's Emerald restaurat, we especially remember Rachana and Salina, two sisters who chatted with us at breakfast and dinner, laughed with us, and answered our questions. We took a photo together at our last breakfast. We're grateful for those moments, thank you, Rachana and Salina 😁😊 It's not a top-end hotel, but it met and even went a little beyond what we'd expect from a three-star place. The location was decent, with several bus stops a few minutes away. Our room was simple and clean, with what we needed, and comfortable beds. The food had a good range. Some dishes were bland, some were just okay, and others were delicious. I couldn't stop eating the meatballs, lasagna, sausages and some of the other meats. I think everyone could find something they like. We'd recommend it to anyone looking for a fairly priced hotel where they can feel welcome. Greetings from Poland to everyone working there 🇲🇹✨️🤍
