Carini Farmhouses

The hostess was so friendly and quick to answer our questions throughout the day. We found this group of farmhouses just off the main road from Gharb church, and it worked really well for our weekend. Our farmhouse had everything we could have needed, plus more. The jacuzzi was wonderful, and the facilities matched what was described and met all our expectations. We'd definitely recommend it, and it's now one of our go-to places for the future.

The farmhouse looks nice, with a modern but classic feel, and it's functional. The garage was handy and the views were nice, but that's about where the positives end. There wasn't even salt, pepper, tea, or coffee, and we had to buy more toilet paper because there was so little. The black glass outside table gets hot enough in the morning sun to fry an egg. The farmhouses are right up against each other with hardly any sound insulation, so you hear everything around you. The jacuzzi is a main selling point, but it heats by adding boiling water. I got first degree burns over most of my lower leg. The owner said it was "my fault" rather than an issue with the dangerous design.

We had a lovely birthday weekend with my family at this farmhouse. It was very clean and comfortable, and the owner was helpful. The place is equipped with all the plates, glasses, dishes, pots, and utensils we needed. We also enjoyed the beautiful view and quiet surroundings, relaxing in the indoor Jacuzzi facing the view or swimming outside and using the BBQ. Thanks, Simone, for helping me have such a great birthday with my family. I'll recommend it to friends, and we'd like to come back for more family time.

The farmhouse was decent, but in its current condition I'm not sure it was worth the price. The pictures may not show the exact farmhouse you get, so be careful when booking. Several things were broken: the front rail swung around, some pool lights didn't work, the shower by the pool was unfinished, and there were broken tiles by the BBQ and broken stone shelves. The pool was cloudy and very dirty. We told the owner, who insisted it had been clear before we checked in, but it wasn't. I know what I saw before we went in, and nobody had used it then. There were plastic cups at the bottom, probably left by the previous guests. It was a mess, like a pool full of dirt soup. The BBQ pan was filthy too, with dirt, grease, and food residue, probably from the previous check-in, so we didn't even consider cooking on it. Some beds had broken wooden supports underneath, and the mattresses weren't comfortable. We also didn't get enough toilet paper for everyone.
