Talbot and Bons Boutique Bed & Breakfast

Breakfast was a real treat, with fresh Maltese bread delivered each day, local cheeses, cured meats, baked eggs, tomatoes with ricotta, and a juice corner with orange squeezers and a centrifuge. In winter, they use delicious local oranges. The reception staff were warm and quick to help with things like an iron or extra towels. Two bus options nearby make getting to Valletta easy. The house is a restored old Maltese stone home, peaceful and full of character. My room was cozy, and I slept really well. The shower was modern with good pressure, and the air conditioning worked well in both summer and winter. It’s also a short walk from the airport. I loved the village setting, with its winding narrow streets and old Maltese feel. I already miss this place.

The room was great, but the air conditioning wasn’t very strong, which seems common in Malta. We paid for an extra bed but couldn’t really use it because there was no quilt. We asked for one, but the reply came the next day, when we were already at the airport.

Our room was spacious, with a large, comfortable bed. There were adaptors if needed, plus a jug of fresh water. The courtyard, with its rustic stone walls, was beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved our stay and would absolutely recommend it.

The breakfast was great, and for a one-night stay the room was perfectly fine. The old house has been renovated nicely, and the room looked just like the photos, though it smelled damp and was a little dusty.
