We had a fabulous six-night stay at Isabella Suites in January 2026. The room was spacious and spotless, with a huge comfortable bed, and the shower had a powerful flow of lovely hot water. Wi-Fi was excellent, and daily housekeeping was a great addition. The cafe was wonderful, and the staff there were delightful and friendly. Plenty of restaurants are within a 5-10 minute walk, and bus stops are close by. A taxi from the airport cost 20 euros in January 2026. Parking is very limited in Malta, especially in built-up areas, and can be impossible to find. I’d suggest using public transport, which is cheap and reliable. I highly recommend Isabella Suites for a visit to Malta.

The room was large, the staff were good, and communication about getting access was excellent. I’d stay again, but not in the ground-floor room. It was cramped next to the cafe and got noisy from around 06:30 when the people preparing it for the day left the door between the cafe and hotel open. The balcony was below ground level, with nothing to look at except a large wall covered in artificial plants.

The staff were so warm and helpful, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. We stayed 10 nights, using the place as a comfortable home base for our holiday and work in Malta. It’s centrally located, with bus stops close by for Valletta and Sliema.

The room was very spacious, and once we shut the balcony door it was quiet. There’s a gym included in the price and a coffee shop in the building. The room was cleaned daily, though it could use a deeper clean, and water leaked out of the shower and soaked the mat. The area feels a bit remote and has a lot of traffic, but the little harbor promenade with its restaurants and cafés is within walking distance. Buses nearby get you to central Valletta in under 20 minutes. Still a nice stay.

The staff were quick to respond and really went out of their way to help with what we needed. The hotel is comfortable and good value for the money. It’ll be my first choice whenever I visit Malta.
