Island Guesthouse

Shops, restaurants, and a pharmacy are all close by, and the staff were kind. The location and price made the apartment manageable for a short visit, but I’d look elsewhere for 4-5 days. Construction across the building meant drilling and hammering from 7am to 7pm, so relaxing there wasn’t possible. The room was cold and the only way to heat it was with the air conditioning. Humidity was 100%, and our clothes got wet just sitting in the room. Mold covered the walls, especially in the bathroom.

We had a double room with two double beds, plenty of space, and housekeeping came every day. The staff were nice, and it’s in a good location. Construction nearby made mornings loud, though, and there’s no curtain, so light came in while we were trying to sleep.

The host was flexible about check-in. The usual time was 2 pm, but we could get into our room around 10 am. It’s near the bus station, city center, and restaurants. The bed was comfortable, and the basics provided were enough, including a simple breakfast and a hairdryer.

I was only there for one night. The room was clean, comfortable, and equipped, and the location worked well for getting around, with public transport and shops nearby. They don’t provide breakfast, but the room has what you need for a simple one.
