The Red Farm Relais & Spa

Breakfast was a real highlight, with a full continental spread and, while we were there, a choice of English, Italian, or Maltese breakfast. The pool area was lovely and relaxing, though people sometimes left towels on sunbeds for hours without using them. Staff were great, and I’d come back. The room was spacious, bright, clean, and welcoming, with a big bathroom, jacuzzi bath and shower, a huge comfortable bed, a large smart TV, tea and coffee, and a fridge. Check-in was a bit confusing at first: I was in room 1 (Ghenba), and the door code in the instructions didn’t work. I contacted staff, who quickly sorted it out, and it turned out to be an actual key. I slept really well for two of the three nights. The third was difficult because of a party next door, which wasn’t Red Farm’s fault. The singing from a man and woman there was horrendous, and it felt like they were in our room. We didn’t use the spa or indoor pool because they cost extra, which was a surprise. The gym is in bad shape: the treadmill doesn’t work and the equipment is worn out. If the facility is there, it should work. You can’t park on site, even though there seems to be space that could be first come, first served, so we had to park on the street, which wasn’t ideal. There were one or two issues outside management’s control.

We booked Red Farm for both a hens party and a bachelors party and were really pleased with both. The hens party was a day by the pool, while the bachelors party was in the Villa. The food was amazing and the service incredible. I also want to thank Lorraine for all her effort. I’d highly recommend this venue.

It was nice and quiet in this residential area, with a bus stop right outside for Valletta and a supermarket nearby. The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated, and well stocked. Staff were friendly and welcoming every time we saw them, and housekeeping could come daily, leaving everything clean and tidy. Breakfast was included, delicious, and had plenty of variety. Check-in and check-out went smoothly, with all the information sent by text beforehand. Guests can use the pool, kids play area, and outdoor seating, and massages and other treatments are available for an extra charge.

My mum and I stayed for a week and had an incredible holiday. The staff were caring and attentive, always checking whether we needed anything, and they should be proud of themselves. Everything was extremely clean and tidy, and our beautiful room could be cleaned every day if we wanted. There was WiFi, an incredible indoor pool and outdoor pool, and a delicious included breakfast with lots of fresh choices. The cooked breakfast was amazing too. We couldn’t have asked for anything better. Thank you so, so much. We’ll be back!
