db Seabank Resort and Spa

The hotel is in a great spot, and the staff were friendly with the kids, from reception to the electricians. Our cleaner, Manoj, did an impeccable job cleaning the room each day, and tidied it early when our daughter got sick. Cold dishes were incredible, though the hot dishes were fine rather than memorable. There was plenty of local alcohol, and the staff weren’t stingy with it. The bookable restaurant lavant was amazing, a cut above the usual buffet. Two things could be improved: the hot buffet didn’t flow naturally outside breakfast, with dishes like rice lacking a sauce and stir-fry noodles having no Asian side dish to go with them. The food was good on its own, but the dishes didn’t quite tie together. Also, the drinks tokens should go. I understand they encourage guests to return their glasses, but we lost our tokens, and at busy times there were long queues just to drop off the empties and get them back. Still, it was a great holiday all around.

Our first visit to Malta, and we had a wonderful family stay. The kids had so much fun at the resort. Food was varied, freshly cooked, and never ran out, and the restaurants were noticeably clean. Resty, Jennifer, Leon, Chona, Jonathan, Joyce, Anwar, and Ali were especially warm when welcoming us into and out of the dining area. They also gave us useful tips for getting around Malta, like which bus to take and where to go. It was a great experience, and we’ll be back. Keep up the good work, team! Mabuhay! Kuya Macky.

We stayed eight days in February 2026, and the staff made the whole visit feel special. Every member of the team was caring and professional, and Melissa in the Plus Lounge was a star, friendly, attentive, and welcoming. We enjoyed relaxing there at different times of day, and being able to order wine by the bottle in the restaurants and lounge was a lovely touch. Breakfast in the lounge was especially good, with cooked-to-order options each morning and delicious roasted Maltese sausage. The hotel also had plenty of restaurants to choose from and a good range of evening entertainment. Our clean, well-kept room, 4220, had an amazing sea view that was a joy to wake up to, and housekeeping did a fantastic job throughout. The All Inclusive Plus package felt well worth it. We also loved the indoor pool, heated just right, with family swim times as well as peaceful adult-only sessions. It’s a fantastic hotel in a beautiful location, with family activities and quieter areas for adults.

We had a very enjoyable week at db Seabank Resort and Spa hotel in January 2026, staying with our three-year-old in a poolside family room with all-inclusive. The room was quiet, even though the sandy beach is across a busy road, with a pedestrian crossing light. That road also makes it easy to catch one of the many buses stopping right outside. The hotel is in the north of the island, handy for kid-friendly outings like Gozo, the National Aquarium, and Popeye Village. We didn’t get to use every facility, but there was plenty to do indoors, including wellness facilities, a kids’ playground, and very warm pools at 0.3m, 0.9m, and 1.2m, plus a Jacuzzi. Food was very good and changed daily. The à la carte restaurants were also really good, and getting a table was easy in January. There was a good selection of Cola, Fanta, Kinnie, and other drinks, plus beer and good mixed cocktails. The coffee could be better, but was fine. Staff were motivated and very friendly. We reported heating and hair dryer issues in our room, and they were fixed promptly. It felt like the hotel had its processes well in hand and was focused on a good guest experience. We had a nice stay.
