Guesthouse No. 48 was a comfortable, elegant place at an affordable price. The location puts you right in the middle of everything, and our room was clean with a comfortable bed. The kitchen had all the basics we needed to cook a proper meal, and towels were changed during our stay. The amenities were top-notch. From booking through check-in and the rest of our visit, things went smoothly. The owner, manager, and staff were professional and supportive, accommodated all our requests, and gave prompt, genuine information. Highly recommended!

Really clean place for a holiday, and close to everything.

It worked okay for our group of ten, but the cleanliness needs a lot of attention. There was rotting fruit in the fridge, an open cereal box in a cupboard, and a dirty rag in a bathroom drawer. We also spotted a cockroach in one of the bathrooms. The host did try to accommodate us and sent a nice gift, so two stars for that.

For a five-day stay, giving us a room with no window or balcony wasn’t acceptable. The manager and owner weren’t polite or cooperative when we tried to arrange something else or get compensation for the problem. A very poor experience. I don’t recommend it.
