Cinematique

Buses are right nearby, and cafes, restaurants, and shops for meals are easy to find in any direction. Mosta Dome is just across and down the road, yet we didn’t run into annoying party tourists. Mosta has a lovely town square feel, is family friendly, and felt very safe as a base for seeing more of Malta. We even found parking around the hotel’s corner. The hotel is a thoughtfully decorated boutique gem in a former cinema. The rooms are stylish, well equipped, and have air conditioning, a bar fridge, and complimentary water, tea, and coffee. Guest care was warm and attentive. John, our host, was friendly and professional, and as someone born and raised in Mosta, a wonderful ambassador for Malta. We loved both Mosta and the hotel, and would come back if we get the chance.

Albert summed it up nicely: “You arrive at the hotel as guests, but you leave as friends.” Albert and John’s recommendations were spot-on and made the trip more enjoyable, and the location made it easy to get from place to place. Our room had everything we needed and was cleaned daily, which matters a lot to me. The air conditioning worked perfectly on the warm days. We arrived late in Malta, but the clear instructions Albert and John sent ahead made check-in easy, and we were even welcomed with a lovely gift during our stay.

Albert and John were kind, friendly, and so helpful. We wanted a quiet stay, especially in the evenings, and that’s what we got. The room was super clean and had everything we needed. Cinematique is a real gem in the heart of Mosta, a AAA+ experience. We highly recommend it and would definitely book again 😊

The rooftop room is worth hoping for, the view of the cathedral is fantastic. The hosts gave us lots of good recommendations and advice, and the location was great. The rooms were in perfect condition. This was the best accommodation of our whole trip in Malta. I’d recommend it 100%.
