Lellux Bed and Breakfast

I booked three nights at Lellux B&B and ended up staying 11 because I liked it so much. It's a great spot to unwind away from the tourist crowds and get a feel for the real Gozo. The price is amazing for what you get, and the place was super clean. The old stone house has lovely interiors, high ceilings and wooden doors. It's in a calm rural village with a handful of solid restaurants, two minutes' walk from the main square, restaurants and a small grocery store, and one minute from a bus stop. There's a lovely back courtyard with a pool. The rooms are well equipped with a water boiler, hairdryer, tea and coffee, fridge and plenty of towels. Guests can use a well-equipped kitchen, with an organized space for their groceries in the large fridge. The WiFi was good, 90Mbit/s down and 20Mbit/s up. I got quick replies to questions on WhatsApp and always found the staff supportive. The maid speaks good English and is very kind. During low season there were few guests, and the place is large for the number of rooms, so I imagine it usually feels calm. There's a lovely 20-minute walk downhill to a small beach. Use MapsMe for the shortcut trail. A couple of things to know: rooms facing the road get some traffic noise, so I'd recommend one facing the backyard. The blackout curtains could be better. You may hear a distant rooster early in the morning from the backyard-facing rooms, so bring earplugs if you're sensitive to noise, like me. The kitchen was only open for guest use between 7:30-10:30, though that rule may have changed by the time you read this.
