db San Antonio Hotel & Spa - All Inclusive

The staff made us feel welcome throughout, always cheerful, helpful and ready when we needed something. Special thanks to Maroune, Jolanta, Nicolle, Kate, Madan and Angela, the Polish receptionist. Having someone at reception who spoke Polish made things much more comfortable for me. We had a relaxing stay at this all-inclusive hotel. The facilities were spotless, the atmosphere was calm, and there was a good range of tasty food every day. Everything surpassed what we’d expected from the start. It was a memorable holiday, and we’d happily recommend the hotel to anyone looking for an all-inclusive break. We’ll definitely return.

The AI+ Lounge was the part of our stay that made the holiday feel special from beginning to end. It had a laid-back feel, good food and drinks, and more personal service. Puja, Rekha, Sreelakshmi, Dembo and Zeee were warm and attentive each day, always greeting us with a smile and making sure we were looked after. Chef Houcem deserves a mention too. The lounge food was consistently fantastic, with lovely presentation and plenty of variety. You could tell a lot of care went into it. We upgraded to the AI+ package during our recent stay at db San Antonio Hotel + Spa, and felt it was well worth it. The facilities and hardworking, professional team made this one of our best hotel stays in Malta. We’d gladly come back and recommend the AI+ upgrade to anyone staying at db San Antonio.

For anyone who wants to keep up their fitness, the gym is very well equipped with new equipment, and there’s also an indoor pool. We stayed in a family room, and its layout meant we could manage with one room even with older teenagers. It was kept clean, the facilities were excellent, and the pool area worked well. Although the hotel was busy and clearly popular with families, we never felt crowded and could always find sunbeds. There’s a good entertainment team too. The hotel sits in St Paul’s, Malta, close to the seafront. Bars and restaurants are a short walk away, with lovely sunset views. It’s just over 10 years old and still looks smart and clean. The all-inclusive package had good pool bar and restaurant choices, and the standard restaurant offered varied, high-quality food. The AI plus upgrade turned out to be a great decision. The service and extras were as good as anything I’ve had at hotels over many years of travel. Sree, Puji, Rekha and Dembo were so friendly and dedicated, and very patient with all our coffee and cocktail requests. Booking a hotel always feels like a bit of a gamble, even after all the research, but DB San Antonio lived up to what we’d hoped for. I’d recommend it to families with young children or couples using it as a base to see Malta. Thanks for making it a memorable holiday for all of us.

We really enjoyed our time in the All-In Plus Lounge. Sreelashmi, Rekha, Puja, Houcem and Anwar were so warm and professional, always greeting us with a smile and checking that we had what we needed. Their kindness made the stay even better. Thanks for looking after us so well! 😊
