Sabi beach club ended up being our favourite spot. Sandro and Kieran, along with Milo, Jason, Fayas and the rest of their team, made it a great place to spend time. Kieran even felt almost like a son to me, helping reserve a table and making us feel special. We tried all the restaurants with the upgraded flexi all-inclusive, which let us eat at any time in any restaurant in the evening. Zakaria made breakfast at Sabi a treat on many occasions. Marina in the main restaurant was very helpful too, including with a small request for a tomato without herbs. It can get busy there at certain times, so keep that in mind when choosing when to eat. The food and drinks were fabulous. The hotel isn’t perfect, but whenever something wasn’t right, the managers were proactive and helped make our stay excellent. The entertainment is low-key, though the football setup was fantastic, with big screens in Sabi Beach Club and Juniper Bar. When we arrived, the queen room we’d booked through Jet2 felt too small for a two-week stay, with little storage and not much of a view. We’d also hoped for a sea view. Thankfully, management upgraded us to a king-size superior room with a better view, lots of storage and a massive bed. Thanks to Victoria and the team for sorting it out.

Breakfast had lots of choice, with fresh food to suit different tastes, and the housekeeping team did a great job with the rooms. Ours was spacious and nicely furnished, with everything we needed and a very comfortable bed. The DoubleTree by Hilton in Malta is modern, spotless and well placed. From check-in, the welcome was warm and hospitable, and the famous cookie was a lovely touch. Staff were friendly, attentive and always willing to help. We had an excellent stay and would happily return. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Malta.

The pools were a real highlight, especially the limonata pool with its swim-up bar. The Animation Team were lovely and included both the adults and kids in their activities. My children especially liked Javi. We had a fantastic week. Our room was spacious and clean, with a great balcony and sea view, and the hotel is kept to a high standard. We enjoyed the food and spent evenings at Juniper bar, where the bar service was excellent and the entertainment varied. Thanks for a lovely stay, we’d come back!

Vicky took such thoughtful care of us that she deserves a special thank you. Her kindness and dedication made our family feel at home, and she made sure everything was just right for us. The whole team welcomed us warmly from the moment we arrived. They went above and beyond to make my birthday special, giving our family memories we won’t forget. Service was outstanding, and the location was ideal for exploring Malta while enjoying beautiful surroundings. I’d choose the DoubleTree Malta again without hesitation and recommend it to anyone visiting. Thank you to everyone for making my birthday and family holiday so special! ❤️🎂🏨✨

The hotel is lovely, nicely decorated and has good amenities. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful, especially Mohan, who looked after our room. We liked the location, with a lively seafront nearby and quieter restaurants tucked along the side streets. The ferry trip to Gozo was easy and enjoyable.
