Staying in Rabat instead of Valletta was a fantastic choice. My Travel House is well placed for good dining, nearby transport, and access to Mdina. We had a lovely, spacious room with high ceilings and big windows. Check-in and all the communication before arrival were easy. Milli was warm and incredibly helpful, and we can’t thank her enough for feeling like a friend. We’d recommend the place wholeheartedly.

The steep, winding stairs to all the rooms except room 1 are worth knowing about if you have mobility issues. We managed fine, though. Our airy, beautiful room was off a picturesque honey-coloured alley, and Mdina was a short walk away. Breakfast at a nearby restaurant was always delicious. Mili was proactive and helpful over messages, and made our very late midnight arrival work. The decor, terrace and amenities were lovely. Wish we could’ve stayed longer. Thanks again, we highly recommend My Travel House!

We got there before check-in, and they let us into the room as soon as it was ready. They also offered us the latest possible checkout at no extra cost. The place is in a great part of the city, close to everything but really quiet. Our room was cozy, pleasant and spacious, with AC for cooling or heating. There’s free coffee by the entrance anytime, and the rooftop terrace is perfect. Arrival, check-in and communication with the people in charge were all great. 10/10, would come back.

We booked two nights in the family room for three people, then liked it so much that we stayed for seven and used it as our base for visiting Malta. The breakfasts were huge, and the staff were very friendly. We loved the place.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and there was even the option to leave our luggage after checkout. Breakfast was served at their restaurant, three minutes away, from 8:30 to 11:30, with six choices. Restaurants are very close, and the bus stop is a 3-5 minute walk. It’s an old-style house in the old part of Rabat, in a quiet area, with an open rooftop seating space for evenings. We enjoyed our stay.
