The spa was impressive, spacious, and well equipped, with a hammam, energy showers, an infrared sauna, and plenty more. It felt like a real escape and added a lot to our stay. My fiancé and I enjoyed every moment. The staff were attentive from the start, and their kindness and professionalism made us feel welcome. Our room was beautiful, peaceful, and spacious, and we were grateful for the upgrade to a deluxe room with a stunning view. The food was outstanding too. Dinner was perfect, and breakfast was even better than we expected, especially the wide choice of healthy options like smoothies and fresh juices, which you don’t usually find at other hotels. Everything was fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared. My birthday was truly memorable, and honestly, I didn’t want to leave. I highly recommend this hotel, and we’ll definitely be back.

Mdina and Rabat are both an easy 15-minute walk away, with lots of good restaurants, and we were happy with the location even though Valletta is farther out. The staff were so warm, and they surprised me with chocolate mousse for my birthday. A lovely place to celebrate. Our Friday arrival was late, but we were shown straight to a spacious luxury room, upgraded for free. A local cookie was waiting, and the terrace looked out over the valley. Waking up to that view was a treat. The hotel really does think about well-being in every sense, even down to a wonderful scent I wished I could take home. Breakfast had healthy choices as well as à la carte dishes. The omelet was delicious, and there were fresh juices and energy shots. The wellness area is extensive, with a sauna, infrared sauna, hammam, big pool, jacuzzi and salt cave. There’s a well equipped gym with Technogym machines and group sessions too. We tried the introductory reformer Pilates class and loved it, thanks to the instructor. The facial and sleep therapy were both relaxing as well. Thanks to the whole team. We’ll definitely be back. The team was attentive and very kind. Richard and Craig deserve a special mention for their great service. They let us stay a little longer so we could catch our flight without rushing, which we really appreciated. We’d be glad to return. We rented one of the flats, and everything felt new and tastefully furnished. Guests staying in the apartments can use the spa for 40€. The hotel is quiet, has a lovely view, a good restaurant and a good breakfast. Mdina is very close, with plenty to see and lots of restaurants nearby. Wonderful stay.

The people really made this stay feel five star. Concierge Vignash called a few days ahead to check that I had restaurant bookings for the busy New Year period, and when I arrived several hours early he kept my bags safe and showed me around the room and facilities himself. Concierge Craig and Richard were helpful too. At the front desk, Elmer and Kiran were welcoming and efficient, and waiter Vishal gave first class service with excellent recommendations. My Junior Suite at Verdala Wellness Hotel (AX Privilege) was one of the best rooms I’ve stayed in. It was spacious, beautifully finished and extremely comfortable, a pleasure to return to each day. This is a premium, well managed hotel with exceptional staff. Highly recommended.
