Alexandra Hotel

I organized group travel for 60 people and stayed at Alexandra Hotel with them. The facilities were very good: our group had a lot of fun at the rooftop pool, and the indoor pool, sauna, and gym were also really nice. The rooms were good and clean, and the housekeeping team did a very good job. Compliments to them. Breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve ever seen, with lots of fresh variety and choice. Unfortunately, I wasn’t happy with the management experience. Reception staff, including the manager, were often unfriendly, and I felt they treated us with indifference. Their communication didn’t seem very professional. I especially want to thank Olga, who was the only person who really helped us with respect, kindness, and professionalism. She did her best in every situation, and I’m very grateful. The hotel needs more people like Olga at reception.

Patrick and Maryam from the breakfast team made our stay especially memorable. They were genuinely thoughtful and welcoming. Everyone else, from reception to the buffet staff, was attentive and professional too. It was an outstanding stay, and I’d gladly come back. 🥰🤍

The bugs we found under the bathroom rug on the third day were honestly disgusting. There were also small stains on the bedsheets, despite the room seeming clean at first. The reception had a constant awful smell from the moment we arrived, and its toilet was very dirty. Seeing the luggage room left unlocked also made us question whether our things were safe there. The location is great for party-goers, and we got lucky with our room because noise wasn’t an issue for us. Breakfast was good, though nothing special, and one morning it ended early with no alternative. Reception staff were okay, neither particularly friendly nor rude. The shower gel was poor quality, and there was no shampoo or conditioner. Without the cleanliness problems, it would have been what we expected from a 3-star hotel. Those problems made the stay much worse for us. I don’t recommend it.

The breakfast buffet and the bar and pool on the top floor were definite pluses. There are also some very good little places to eat nearby. It’s almost in Paciville, right by the party scene. The hotel is average and a bit worn around the edges, but the staff work hard and do their best.
