El Doris Boutique Living St Julians

Breakfast was a letdown, with very few options. The bigger problem was how much noise came through from the neighboring rooms. Even the tiniest sound felt like it was right in my room, so across all four nights I never slept comfortably. It wasn’t a pleasant stay.

The bed was comfortable, breakfast was nice, and the hotel had a great pool. A good, comfortable stay.

The pool is on the small side, but it’s fine. Rooms are large and clean, and the location is great. Breakfast was average, with just a couple of choices.

I can’t recommend this place for families with small children. I booked four days ahead and was assured there’d be a crib for my one-year-old daughter, but after check-in I found there wasn’t one. There’s no reception desk, so everything has to be handled online. Within three hours of contacting them, they said my request was a priority and they might be able to arrange a crib. Later, they told me there wouldn’t be one on the first day, and maybe they could get one the next day if another guest donated theirs. It was absurd. At 6 PM they canceled the reservation, leaving us an hour to pack and check out.
