Holiday Inn Express Malta by IHG

We stayed for 18 nights and felt very welcome at Holiday inn express. The little balcony was lovely, and the room had everything we needed. The location was perfect, close to shops and bars, with easy access around Malta. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it. The breakfast staff were wonderful and made us feel like family. Saviour was such a lovely gentleman and made us feel at home. Prasuma was kind, always smiling, and such a beautiful person. Prem was friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble, and Mario always greeted us pleasantly with a good morning. The housekeepers were lovely and did a wonderful job cleaning our room, and everyone at reception was very helpful. Five stars from me!

The St. Julians location is lively, with clubs and parties at night, so keep that in mind when booking. My family and I still slept really well despite it, and the nightlife is mentioned all over the internet, so I don’t quite understand the reviews complaining about it. The staff were friendly and made sure guests were looked after. The rooms were clean and nice-looking, and the food was decent. You won’t go hungry. Everything was fine, I recommend it :)

The surroundings outside the hotel are a bit untidy in places, and the loud music makes it better suited to younger people who enjoy that. Still, we had a fabulous stay and would definitely return. The staff were excellent and went out of their way to help. Special mention to the Food and Beverage team led by Saviour. They were hardworking, friendly, approachable, and always greeted us with a smile. The Housekeeping and Reception teams were exceptionally pleasant and willing to help too. Hotel management should be proud. Thank you, Holiday Express Malta!

The free breakfast was fantastic, with eggs, bacon, sausage, hot dishes, pastries, and an espresso machine. We enjoyed it on the rooftop terrace with stunning views over the bay. Reception and the terrace restaurant are on the top floor, where you can take in the city view over your morning coffee. Our room had a lovely beach view, and the colorful balcony caught my eye. The rooms are modern, spacious, and immaculately clean, with housekeeping maintaining them to a high standard every day. The warm, professional staff made me feel genuinely welcome at Holiday Inn Express Malta by IHG. A special thank you to Mr. Ishowar for keeping the room spotless every single day. The fresh linens, sparkling bathroom, and everything arranged perfectly showed how much pride he takes in his work. Those little details made me feel cared for. He’s a real asset to the hotel.
