The main entrance door does not lock properly, so anyone from the street can enter. Reception is often unattended, and a Master Key that opens every room is left fully exposed on the table by the entrance. Someone unauthorized could take that key, enter any room, steal valuables such as cash or documents, and leave the country before anyone noticed. The lack of protection for residents and their belongings is unacceptable.

I found cockroaches crawling in the bed and tucked into the pillowcases. It was revolting and felt unsafe. The hygiene standards seemed non-existent, and the premises completely infested. Avoid this hotel at all costs. Don't book unless you want pests sharing your bed.

The exposed boiler is a serious scalding risk. If the tank fails or its pressure valve releases, boiling water would fall directly on me in the shower, with no way to get clear. The ceiling is open, leaving the boiler's electrical components exposed to constant steam and condensation. That could cause a lethal electric shock. This is part of a wider pattern of neglect I've reported before. The lack of maintenance and dangerous placement of the appliance are no longer tolerable.

Andrea gave us a great welcome at check-in, as did her sister Ramona and the rest of the staff. She explained everything about the apartment, the city, and the island. The apartment was perfect, with everything we needed, all new, and right in the center of St Julian. I definitely recommend it!
