The Club team took wonderful care of us throughout our ten-day stay. Many thanks to Sameer, Vinay, Nisha, Njambi, Ann from the kitchen, and Manana (room cleaning). They were warm, professional, and sincerely kind. They were especially thoughtful about my dietary requirements, always attentive and proactive, and did it all with a smile. That care made a real difference to the whole experience. I’d also like to thank Tarek, the Front Office Manager, for his excellent support and impeccable service. He was professional and responsive, and helped make the stay smooth and enjoyable. His leadership and focus on guests are clear in the hotel’s high standards. From the first moment, we felt welcome and at ease. The atmosphere and service from the whole team make this a place we’re always happy to return to. We’re grateful for the experience and already looking forward to our next stay.

Breakfast at the Opal Lounge was included each day, and it made the mornings feel relaxed. Sopo was especially attentive and professional, and even remembered my usual table and cappuccino. Anamika in reservations also helped everything go smoothly. Our first room was a bit noisy, but the team gladly moved us to a quieter garden-view room on a higher floor for a small extra fee. Everyone was friendly, polite, and genuinely helpful throughout. As an IHG One Rewards member, I loved my stay at the InterContinental Malta and would happily return.

The team made a real difference to our stay. When we mentioned the noise at reception, a manager personally handled our request, and within a few hours we were in a much quieter room facing the interior garden. The staff were attentive and professional, and clearly wanted us to be comfortable. We were in St. George’s Bay in St. Julian’s, right by the beaches, restaurants, bars, and nightlife. There are plenty of nearby places to eat, from Italian and Chinese to Mediterranean food, and it was easy to head out for either a quick bite or dinner. The hotel itself was elegant and well kept, with several dining options, bars, and leisure facilities, though I didn't use all of them. Our original room faced the nightlife, so we could hear music and people coming back late. It made sleep difficult on some nights. That busy atmosphere is part of central St. Julian’s, where bars and clubs stay active late, and other reviewers also mention noise from nightlife and people on the street. If you’re a light sleeper, ask for a garden or interior-facing room. I stayed at the InterContinental Malta by IHG in March 2025 and had a very positive experience. The location is especially convenient if you want to be in the middle of things, and I’d gladly stay again for the helpful service and easy access around St. Julian’s.

The rooms were roomy, modern, and very comfortable, and the food was excellent. Staff were welcoming and attentive from start to finish. With a perfect location and a premium feel throughout, this hotel clearly cares about guest satisfaction. 10/10 for the experience.
