The lobby felt welcoming, and check-in was easy, with reception staff who were friendly and efficient. My room was clean and comfortable, but the mattress really hurt my sleep. They should consider adding mattress toppers. Trees in front of the balcony cut off much of the sea view. They might give welcome shade in summer, though in spring they blocked the view quite a bit. If a clear view matters, ask for a higher floor. Room service was another letdown: I called five times and couldn't get through. Breakfast was decent, and the restaurant was clean and looked after. The spa was small, so it may disappoint if you're after a roomy wellness area.

Flavio at reception deserves a special mention. He was warm, helpful, and ready with a smile, and that personal service made me feel valued. The rest of the staff were professional and friendly too. Salini Resort was clean and modern, with an incredible sea view. I had a fantastic stay and would recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxing, high quality visit to Malta.

We wanted a different room after arriving because the view from our booked standard room was blocked. There weren't any sea view rooms available at first, but Kaj helped us upgrade to one. Really great effort from the team. Flavio at reception was kind, welcoming, and helpful, and the manager was friendly and upbeat, greeting us with a smile. We enjoyed every day there. Lovely hospitality, highly recommended.

The gym was modern and well equipped, and everything from the rooms to the shared spaces was clean and cared for. Staff were attentive and friendly, always happy to help. Breakfast had plenty of tasty options for different preferences. Right by the sea, the hotel also had beautiful views and a peaceful feel.💙

The way we were treated by the restaurant staff and management overshadowed our stay at Salini Resort. Restaurant staff were rude and unwelcoming throughout, with a dismissive, hostile manner that made us uncomfortable from the start. When we spoke to the restaurant manager, he brushed us off and lumped us in with “all the other young people” who had stayed there. We felt judged and unfairly stereotyped because of our age. Staff also commented on how we dressed, which was unacceptable. Being spoken to that way in a hotel we had paid to stay in was uncomfortable and disrespectful. Housekeeping and maintenance were poor too. Towels and toilet rolls were barely replaced, and we had to ask cleaners ourselves to bring them. They would show up around 4/5pm while we were in the room getting ready. One time they knocked once, I didn't hear it, and I was standing there naked. There was no apology. The hotel may look appealing in photos, but in reality the cleanliness and upkeep fell far short of expectations. This was a very poor stay, and we wouldn't return or recommend it.
