Paying 100 euro a night for a 2 star hotel is wild. The place is mostly self-service, and the church right beside it rings every hour until midnight, then starts again at 5am. There’s also a sports bar next door that can get rowdy at certain times. I stayed in what they said was the quieter room and still couldn’t sleep, even with earplugs. After going back and forth with them, they basically put the blame on me for not knowing what to expect. They also said this was the quietest of their sister properties. There was a damp smell, with mold in the bathroom and hallway. Breakfast was good for a 2 star place, and they left Italian branded water in the room. Be careful before booking. You might want a different area, and definitely a different “quaint” stay.

The rooms were spacious, modern, clean, and had air conditioning that worked well. Parking was easy, and check-in was self-service. Breakfast was fine, though a bit more variety would have helped. Great location, and I’d happily recommend it for a comfortable stay.

They went out of their way for my birthday, leaving balloons in the room, and the service was amazing. The location was great too. Breakfast was nice, and the staff paid attention to the little things. I arrived before I could check in, left my luggage there, and picked it up later.

I stayed in July 2023 and still think about it every day, even now in June 2024. There really wasn’t a fault with the stay. Sandra brought us breakfast each morning and was there whenever we needed help. She was amazing, made us feel at home, and kept everything comfortable. The room was spotless, cosy, and had fantastic air conditioning, which felt like a real luxury coming from England in the Maltese heat. We’d booked during the week of their Sannat Festival, so the hotel warned us in advance about construction during our stay and offered us a free upgrade to their best room. The work didn’t bother us. Sannat was quiet and friendly, and the people were lovely and helpful. It’s a little out of the way, which made it especially relaxing. We used Bolts (Ubers) for transport and never had a bad experience. The balcony looked out onto beautiful scenery, and we still think about those breakfast sandwiches. I’d stay at Quaint Boutique Hotels again in a heartbeat. 10/10.
