Corner Hostel

The warm, relaxing feel of the place and the care put into the little details made my stay memorable. The team were kind, professional, and always happy to help with a smile, from the moment I arrived. I’d gladly return and recommend it to anyone after a comfortable stay and welcoming service. Thank you to everyone for making me feel so looked after.

Dhanraj was friendly and helpful, and was there whenever I needed him. The atmosphere felt peaceful and welcoming. My room was comfortable, clean, and well kept, and the location made it easy to get to everything I needed. I really enjoyed staying here.

I was back at this hostel several times in July and August. It’s in a good spot and the rooms were nice, but what I remember most is the staff. The young woman from France and the Indian gentleman gave me lots of tips about the island, and we had some really good conversations. They made my stays better than I’d expected. Thanks to both of them. Sorry to the gentleman that I still haven’t watched the movies he recommended, haha. I hope he remembers me.

I paid € 395 for 29 and am still waiting for a refund after checking out two days into my stay. The owner, James, put me in a different room from the one we agreed on. It had an outside toilet. They claimed it was a more expensive room and joked that an inside toilet is noisy, then said they hadn’t charged me extra. If the agreed room wasn’t available because it had no lower bed, they should have told me instead of handling it this way. I didn’t get what I was promised, and it was extremely loud through the night until 3am. The room, fan and beds were filthy. I took photos right after their “daily cleaning.” My refund request was ignored, but my bank and the police are working on it.
