The location, the building and the view are all great. Still, the place could use some renovation to make the stay really special. We weren’t fussy and spent most of our time out exploring Malta, so it worked well as a place to rest. Extra charges for internet (5€pd), AC (from 5€ with a web link) and an eco tax (25€ in total), along with old amenities and bedding, made it feel like poor value, especially after we mentioned the prices to locals. Would I book again? Maybe. It probably suits a large group of young adults best, since that makes the cost per person more worthwhile.

We sometimes had no running water, and there was never any hot water. We were also charged for something we hadn’t broken. The owner said we’d have to pay a little less if we left a good review. Air conditioning cost 50 euros per day. Legit scammers, absolutely insane. Never book here!

The property has potential, but it feels poorly maintained and badly managed. The terrace looks directly onto the terraces of the apartments below, so privacy is limited. Other problems included a jacuzzi with no bubbles, electrical cables at the water’s edge, and a shared indoor pool with restricted hours. Many items were damaged or patched up in a hurry, and the refrigerator smelled unpleasant. Air conditioning costs extra. There are plenty of beds, the location is fairly convenient, Wi-Fi is decent, and ashtrays are easy to find. Overall, an average stay.

There were only 10 plates, 6 glasses and 4 cups for our group, even though Mrs. Jane said the house was designed for 16 people. There were also six plastic cups, but people still had to wait for dishes or buy disposable ones. The house was run-down, with mold on the walls, rusty railings and a neglected outdoor pool. The ping-pong gear was embarrassing, and the pool cues were toys. The house is surrounded by neighbors who complain about people on the terrace, so Mrs. Jane’s advice was essentially to accept it and stay quiet. She looks after 100 other houses, and it felt like she didn’t care what we thought because someone else would rent this ruin anyway. I suggest fixing the place up and not renting it until the problems are sorted out. We arrived to find no hot water; after I contacted the owner, someone came the next day and switched on the heater fuses. That should have been done before arrival. The heating was off too, and we worked that out ourselves. It only worked for one day because the supply was limited, so don’t count on having air conditioning or heating for the whole stay. A group of us had to cover ourselves with whatever we could, because Mrs. Jane wanted another 50 euros for the house, even though we’d paid almost 8,000 PLN for three days. The indoor water was about 5 degrees below hot. This is no luxury house for the price. Mrs. Jane had 10 plates, 6 glasses and 4 cups for a group, and the terrace restrictions made it hard to enjoy the place. I definitely don’t recommend it.
