The owner, decor, and location were all five-star for me. The problem was the air conditioning in my room, which was so noisy that it was too hot to sleep without it. If you’re given the top room, be ready for lots of steep stairs, and check that the unit has been fixed or ask to move.

The little things were well thought out, with adapters, skin care products, tea, and coffee in the room, and everything was super clean. I also enjoyed the bathtub, Netflix, and the lovely design inside and out. The host was so friendly and welcoming. It’s in a cute town near the airport, and the terrace looks out toward the local church. A really enjoyable stay.

We loved our room, with its tasteful decor and bathroom on a mezzanine. Just be aware that the bathroom is essentially part of the same space as the room, only on the level above. The beautiful house has wonderfully helpful hosts, and there’s a sun terrace with a jacuzzi. It’s only 2.5 km from the airport, which suited us well before our morning flight.

I’d only booked one night because of the good rate and airport proximity, ahead of a very early departure, but I wished I could’ve stayed longer. This charming little B&B is tucked down an alley in an old part of town, so it can be tricky to find at first. The neighborhood has plenty of character and some significant sights, though it doesn’t seem to get many tourists. A few blocks away, there’s a large public square with shops and sidewalk cafes.
