We booked Domus Zamittello for three nights in February 2026, then cancelled after a suspicious deposit request and the hotel's response. A couple of weeks before arrival, my wife got an email that looked legitimate, with instructions to pay a deposit of approximately C$1000. She followed them and charged it to our credit card, then soon realized something was wrong and contacted the hotel. They said other clients had received similar bogus emails. Their website had clearly been hacked, but they wouldn't admit it or accept responsibility or liability. We reported the fraud to Visa right away and, fortunately, weren't charged. We ended up at a much nicer boutique hotel in a better Valletta location for less money.

The suites are set back from the street, so the stay was peaceful and quiet, and the rooms were spotless and comfortable. The hotel is centrally located, with a boutique feel and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Sandra at the front desk and Oweu made our stay memorable. Oweu picked us up at the airport and brought us to the hotel comfortably. We truly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it.

What makes Domus Zamittello especially lovely is how calm and quiet it feels despite being right in the city centre, close to restaurants and bars. The terrace views are great, and the service was excellent from start to finish. We stayed two nights; the suites were spotless, well looked after, and gave the place a proper boutique feel. A real gem in Valletta.

Maria and her team gave exceptional customer service. We stayed in room 35, which was beautifully remodeled, with soundproof windows overlooking the outdoor venue. The hotel is in a fantastic central spot near the waterfront, shops, and restaurants. You'll be delighted by the experience.
