Magical Casalgo House

We found the staff helpful with everything we needed, and the house was large and attractive. The shared spaces were well equipped, it was generally clean, and the location was handy for bus stops, restaurants, and grocery stores. We had the ground-floor apartment. Its bathroom is across the building, reached through the shared area. That wasn’t a major problem for us, though it could bother other people. The bigger issue was the room’s poor sound insulation. Heavy traffic nearby in the early morning disturbed our sleep, and it felt like we were sleeping right on the street.

I’ve stayed here several times and the rates are very good. Anton is the best host, super kind and attentive.

The place is a little outside the main town, but still within walking distance of everywhere. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, the bathroom clean, and the Wi-Fi worked well. Communication with the owner over WhatsApp was good. The electricity was pretty unreliable and cut out several times during my stay, though the owner fixed it quickly.

The house is spacious, well equipped, and in a good location, within walking distance of central Victoria with easy parking. The air conditioning in our room worked well. Still, it was only livable, not especially comfortable, and felt overpriced for what we got, even at a fairly affordable rate. Our room was right by the street and very loud. The supposedly private bathroom was by the kitchen, at the end of a long hallway. Cleanliness could’ve been better: there was an old dirty mattress in the corner and dust balls on the floor. The bathroom had a colony of small flies, and the Wi-Fi barely worked in our room.
