Blue Bay Holiday Resort

We stayed in the family room, but it was a disappointment. It had four double beds, one in one bedroom, two in another, and one in the dining room. Each had only a thin sheet, no duvet or blanket. There were two bathrooms, one in each bedroom, but one shower was unusable because it had no shower head. The kitchen was very poorly stocked, with little cutlery or crockery. It had an oven, stovetop, microwave and sink, but no fridge or bin. The wall phone didn’t work, and when I asked the man for help, he rudely brushed me off. The staff were very passive. The location was okay, but there are much nicer hotels around.

The apartment had spacious rooms, a great sea view, a well-equipped kitchen, a lift and parking. There’s food, a supermarket, and activities nearby. But the place was dirty, there were no blankets or tissues, and the Wi-Fi didn’t work.

Not a good experience. We had to demand cleaning before anyone came. The towels and linen were old, and the sheets hadn’t been ironed. There was no hairdryer, the TV remote had no batteries, and no adapters were available for charging phones. The woman at reception couldn’t speak English.

The rooms we stayed in badly need renovation, and small problems only became clear once we were there. Construction on a penthouse apartment above us ran from 7am to 6pm, including Saturdays and Sundays, and the noise was constant.
