Chantauvent Guesthouse

The rooms were clean and there were no insects, so my Baygon and lizard repellent stayed in my bag. The building itself could use some renovation, though if you’re not too particular about that, you can still enjoy your stay. The staff were welcoming and helpful. We skipped the on-site breakfast and lunch, so I can’t comment on those. Dinner at the spot café was very good, with friendly service. The pizza- la palmeraie- was the best I’ve ever had, and the marlin one was good too. The live music was lovely, and the pool was clean. A great spot if you like planes, sun and sea. We’d definitely love to come back!

Just a short stay, but a lovely one. Everyone at the hotel and restaurant was polite and helpful, the food was yummy, and the atmosphere was good. I really enjoyed it. Thank you for everything 🥰🙏

The room was dirty and dusty, and there wasn’t even a TV. Mosquitoes filled it despite the air conditioning, which made it really uncomfortable. The property is old, badly maintained, and needs fresh paint and renovation. There’s no parking, so cars are left on the road. We were shocked to find a large dog sitting at reception when we arrived, though the staff apparently considered that normal. Lots of stray cats and dogs around where food is served feels extremely unhygienic. This was a very unpleasant experience. The place deserves zero stars and shouldn’t even be operating.

The staff were very friendly, our bedroom was clean, and the shared areas were nice. We enjoyed three nights at Chautanvent, especially the beach and snorkeling. There was a simple continental breakfast and dinner, and it was really helpful to have a shower available on our last day after checkout. At check-in, no one explained where to find the pool or swimming equipment. A full-length mirror in the bedroom would be nice. The booking said cleaning would only happen if we left the key at reception, but our room was cleaned anyway. We had a lovely stay and recommend it. Thanks!
