The staff were kind and helpful from the booking stage onward, from the manager and chef to the gardener. We had booked months ahead, then the Mauritian Rupee strengthened against the Euro and raised the final cost. That was our mistake for not paying when the rate was better, but the manager still offered a complimentary airport transfer to help make up the difference. Our return flight was in the evening, and though we expected to pay extra to keep the room past the usual 10:00 AM check-out, the manager let us use it until departure. That meant we could enjoy our last day on Mauritius. The hotel is a solid three-star place by European standards. Rooms are clean, spacious, and well kept, with large bathrooms and balconies, and the pool is in good condition. A narrow road separates the hotel from Flic en Flac’s long, wide, white-sand public beach. There’s a bus stop outside, and island bus travel is affordable and pleasant. A restaurant is just steps away, with more along the main road toward Carrefour, a few minutes on foot. The main shopping center is about 15 minutes away by bus. Breakfast is straightforward and fresh: the cold buffet has sweet and savory choices plus fruit, and hot classics can be ordered fresh from the kitchen. There’s also billiards and table football. A ping-pong table would be nice, though that’s just my preference. The public beach means the hotel has no sunbeds or umbrellas, but it does provide beach towels, and trees shade parts of the beach. The hotel, its location, and especially the helpful staff made our stay more enjoyable. We wholeheartedly recommend it, hope it moves from three stars to four, and would love to return. I stayed for 32 days, from 12th December 2025 until 13th January 2026, and was very happy there. The staff at gosun hotel beach made it one of my best stays. Reception, with help from manager Arveend Sookha, found me a room at the last minute even though the hotel was full, and helped meet my needs. Cleaning was to a high standard, and everyone was friendly, welcoming, helpful, caring, and understanding of guests’ needs. The hotel is right on the beach in the middle of the long stretch, and my room had a spectacular sea and sunset view. The whole side wall was glass, so the room was very bright, and the balcony was huge. The location is perfect: the bus stop is in front, the supermarket is a 20-minute walk, restaurants line the beach, and cascavell shopping centre is 14 minutes by bus. In my opinion, flic en flac is the best beach in Mauritius, and the hotel looks even better than in the photos. Thanks again 🙏 gosun hotel beach

We tried Go Sun for the first time and will definitely return. The location is great, the rooms are modern, spacious, and clean, and the staff are very friendly. Thanks especially to Mrs Karishma 🙌 at reception and Mr Charly. Breakfast has plenty of choices, and the waiter was very service minded.

I had my best stay in Mauritius here. The rooms are spotless and the service is excellent. It’s only a minute from the beach, and the staff are incredibly friendly and always smiling. Best hotel in Flic en Flac!

Completely unacceptable and unprofessional. The hotel emptied my room, went through my personal belongings, put everything in a box, and moved it to another room. They blamed a booking mix-up, which is no excuse. The woman at reception only said she “wasn’t there” and couldn’t help. I wouldn’t recommend this place.
