Shops, the beach and public transport were all easy to reach on foot, though the walk home is uphill. We had a lovely stay at the Terrace at Residence Barbera. Lydia and her husband were wonderful, and everything was as expected or better. The view from the terrace at sunset was absolutely to die for. We'd definitely come back!

I wish we'd known about the noise before booking. Several houses are due to be built next to this apartment over the next TWO years. The work starts at 8 in the morning and goes on until 5 in the evening, and it's so loud the kitchen dishes vibrate. Sitting outside isn't possible. Worst choice ever.

Thierry was a great host, a nice guy and really helpful with planning things around the island. We had a top stay.

A nice place, though a few useful things were missing: dishwashing liquid, bin bags and somewhere to hang clothes, like a rack or line.
