We stayed for over a month and found it great value. The accommodation is nice, just a two-minute walk from the beach, with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. The internet is quite good, especially by Mauritius standards. Mitra is an awesome host, always ready to help with whatever you need and makes you feel at home.

The host made this stay special. Mitra was so welcoming with everyone that I stopped feeling like I was somewhere unfamiliar. I meant to stay a month and ended up extending it. We had the Filao apartment, with three bedrooms that each had their own simple, stylish furnishings. The beach is beautiful and less than 200 metres away. My 6am walks along the white sand beneath the filao trees were priceless. The apartment is peaceful at night and during the week, and the breeze keeps the western heat at bay. Everything worked, and the appliances were straightforward to use.

The apartment was lovely, and the landlady was especially kind. She helped us arrange a rental car and gave us useful tips about places to visit and where to exchange money. The only thing that bothered me a little was how much sound carried between rooms, though it wasn't a major issue. The photo was taken in the apartment.

Mitra is wonderful, really patient and always ready to help. When you plan your trip, think of this residence as a home away from home. 🌺
