There were two adorable puppies who loved cuddles, and the service was attentive. Dinner was good and the place was clean. Still, there's room for improvement. The curtains need replacing since the room gets bright very early. The bathroom appliances are old and broken, and the whole place could use a makeover. The interior feels outdated and hastily put together. Shower pressure was low, and the water was ice cold. Breakfast was repetitive, with very cheap, low-quality bread and no cold cuts. For the price, you can find better accommodation.

The restaurant downstairs was a highlight for me, especially the veggie curry and vegetable spring rolls. The owner also had great local tips, restaurant suggestions, and could arrange guided island tours. Everyone was so kind and helpful that it felt more like staying with friends. The room was roomy, clean, and comfortable after a day out. A cozy place in Flic en Flac with a lovely local feel.

We planned to stay at Residence Padma for only the first few days, but ended up spending the whole holiday there. The neighbourhood was quieter than the beachfront, where our friends had to put up with loud music from cars all night. Our room had plenty of space, a fridge, sink, and cups, and there was also a fully equipped shared kitchen. We especially appreciated the clean rooms, fresh towels every day, good mattresses, and very fast wifi. The pool was nice for relaxing on a rainy day. It was definitely worth the price.

The main drawback showed up on rainy days: there was no hot shower water, since it’s heated by solar panels. Otherwise, the place was clean, with a kitchen for cooking, and well situated for the beach, supermarket, and driving around to see the island’s sights. The staff were polite and helpful.

The warm pool is open 24/7, and the location makes it easy to get to the beach and nearby amenities. Service was friendly and welcoming, with good in-room WiFi and air conditioning. As another reviewer said, it’s the kind of place you’d return to. Thumbs up.
