The hosts were genuinely helpful, and the guest house felt clean and homely. It’s affordable and conveniently placed for exploring Flic-en-Flac, with simple but practical facilities. A few things didn’t match the Booking photos: the garden is smaller, and getting to the beach means crossing a park with quite a lot of rubbish. There’s no direct access to the ocean or an area set up for sunbathing. Breakfast was good, though I’d have liked more choices on a longer visit.

The room was comfortable, breakfast was great, and the service was excellent. The location is good, and the beach is close by. Bathroom water was hot with good pressure, although the shower drained slowly and needs maintenance. The parking is very tight, with room for four small cars. We booked the pricier sea-facing room. I’d read complaints about the cheaper rooms, and our bathroom had no windows. I won’t go into why that’s not ideal. Whether it’s good value depends on having euros: if you do, it’s cheap and near the beach. Without euros, it isn’t cheap. If you have euros and mainly want to relax or walk to the beach, it could suit you. Without them, a self-catering holiday apartment might be a better option.

The hosts were friendly, and breakfast was both tasty and filling. It was peaceful and clean, with a lovely pool and rooftop terrace. The beach is not far away. We’d be happy to stay with them again if we return to Mauritius. 🌷

I felt right at home here. The staff were so warm and friendly, and for such a fair price we got far more than I expected. Breakfast was made with real care and attention. Everything about the hotel was great, and I’ll definitely come back and recommend it to everyone I know. Thanks for making our stay so lovely! 😊❤️

Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were kind and ready to help. Our clean room had everything we needed. There was a nice terrace on the roof and another one overlooking the pool. A really lovely place to stay, I’d recommend it.
