It was so peaceful there, with bright colors around the place. The rooms were kept clean, and housekeeping came every day, which was especially nice after a day out sightseeing. Great location too. Really, really great!

We were on the ground floor and had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen and a coffee machine. The beach is right across the road, with lots of street food stalls nearby, and parking is available if you have a car. We loved being close to the lively beach scene and so many things.

The staff made us feel welcome, and we really enjoyed our stay. Our apartment was spotless, with lovely furniture and decorations.

The room was nice, and the service was good, with cleaning every day. There are a lot of homeless people on the street outside. I wouldn't stay longer than 3-4 days.

Getting to excursions was easy, since most departure spots near Grand Baie are only about a five-minute walk from dodo square. It's also right by super U, a huge supermarket, with bars, restaurants and shops close by. Inside, the room felt new, neat and clean, and I loved its cute, colorful decor. I'm picky about hotels, but I slept well here. The host was quick to respond and very helpful. I'd happily tell friends and family visiting Mauritius to stay at dodo square! :)
