You get what you pay for here. We didn't pay much, and the place didn't offer much either. The second room was free of ants, and water came from the taps, but it was either warm or cold, seemingly at random. We couldn't control the temperature. An alarm outside the room beeped all day and night, twice a minute without stopping. At least the sheets and towels were clean and nice, and the staff tried to make things better. The floor could definitely use a good scrub, or two.

The room was spacious, with a kitchen and dining area overlooking the sea. Staff were friendly, and the price was hard to beat. The beach is just across the road, about a one-minute walk, and there's a mini market and shops within the property complex.

I loved my stay in North Mauritius. It's a nice, affordable place, close to the beaches, with plenty of facilities for the price. A lady named 'moushirah' was very cooperative and helped me with anything I needed. I'd recommend it to anyone looking to visit North Mauritius on a budget.

The staff were unwelcoming, and the room was dirty and unpleasant. It had only a transom window, so there was no way to look outside. We didn't stay.

The staff were nice, but the rooms weren't very clean. It was hard to find the residence because there was no signboard showing where it was.
