It's affordable and fine for a short stay in Grand Baie, with basic things like a kitchen, bathroom, bed and TV. My stay was quiet and pleasant. The bathroom and bed could use some improvement, though.

It's in a very good spot, but the flats were far from clean, even though cleaners came every day. Inside, they looked rusty. There were lots of cockroaches, geckos and ants, especially in the kitchen. The older woman in charge wanted us to pay for air conditioning, so there was no remote control in any flat. There was no Wi-Fi, even though the booking said there would be. The first flat had no hot water. The second did, but we couldn't use it because the gas bath heater had no exhaust, so the smell of burning gas filled the bathroom. The first-floor flats were hotter than those on the ground floor. They had fans, but the fans weren't enough and made a lot of noise.

The price felt about right for what you get. It's clean, fairly well maintained and in a great location. My only complaint is the weak water pressure, which makes showering less enjoyable.
