Smita and Sal made us feel welcome, and the rooms were really cosy. La Sérénade is handy for bars and restaurants, Grand Baie’s big supermarket, the beach, and bus stops. Breakfast was fresh every morning, with plenty to eat. I had a wonderful stay and think it’s a great base for discovering Mauritius.

We had a wonderful month with Smita and Salvador in 2013, and the breakfasts were excellent. We’re planning to return for three months in 2024.
