We visit often because my husband is Mauritian, so we know the area well. This place is excellent value, well located, and just a 5 minute walk from the bars, restaurants, and large Super U supermarket. Cleaners came every day, the staff were very friendly, and they were at the end of the phone if we needed anything. We would have liked a chest of drawers, since there was only a wardrobe and nowhere to put our clothes. Still, it was a great stay. We’re definitely going back and recommending it to family and friends.

There are steep stairs, which I should have asked about beforehand at 67 years old. The host helped carry my suitcase. Apart from that, everything was okay.

The place is alright, but I’d avoid it on public holidays because there are too many people around. Cooking equipment is limited, and there’s no extractor fan, so the room smells when you cook.

Good value for the price, with clean rooms and well-maintained facilities. Grand Baie Centreville is nearby.

Wouldn’t recommend staying here. The room was small and smelled bad, and the TV didn’t work. We had to park farther up the road, and nobody offered to help with our luggage.
